Photosynthesis is the process in which carbon dioxide and water are used to produce carbohydrates and evolve oxygen in the presence of light & chlorophyll. The entire process of photosynthesis is divided into two parts. Those two parts are called the energy- fixing reaction ( or the light reaction) and the carbon- fixing reaction ( or the dark reaction).
