Study Tips
- first of all, teachers always say to study in a quite place. This can help some people but some people just can't sit in a completely quite room with a book... you will get bored (trust me!)
- find a place where you can be by yourself with very little distraction.
- if you have to turn on some CALM music and don't blast it.
- the way you study should depend on what type of learner you are
Study tips
*visual learners_ flash cards are great
*hands on learners_ you can re-write things, until committed to memory
*audio learners_ read the material aloud to yourself or have some one read aloud to you.
Note Taking Tips
- Don't write down notes word for word
- you can use short hand (a system for rapid writing that uses symbols or abbreviations for letters, words, or phrases.) or slang no one is going to read your note but you! MAKE SURE YOU CAN READ YOUR OWN NOTES!
Test Taking Tips
- STUDY!!!! for you own sake!!!! ~see study tips above~don't over think questions
- pace your self so you don't run out of time
- do what you know first and then come back to the harder ones (remember to come back to the ones you skipped!!!)
